petsum (the "App") takes your personal information and privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed and stored when you use the App, and what information the third-party services included in the App may process.

1. Accounts and Sign-Up

The App does not require you to sign up or log in. The developer does not collect or store account information such as your name, email address, phone number, or password.

2. Photo Library Access

The App uses photos to register and display your pet. When you pick a photo yourself, only the photo you select is passed to the App. If you choose an album for your pet to visit from, the App requests access to your photo library and uses only the photos in that album.

Pet detection and background removal happen on your device, and your photos are never uploaded to the developer's servers or to third-party services.

You can change or revoke photo access at any time in your device settings. If access is revoked, some features may not work properly.

3. App Data

App data such as your photos, your pet's name, and your settings is stored on your device. Some app usage records may be stored in your own iCloud to sync across your devices, and the developer cannot access this information.

Notifications are scheduled on your device and do not go through any external server.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks Premium features. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store, and the developer does not collect or store your card or payment information.

The App uses RevenueCat to verify purchase status, provide Premium features, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, purchase status, and purchase-related information.

5. Usage Analytics (Optional)

The App sends usage analytics data to Google Firebase Analytics to improve the App only if you consent. You can change this choice at any time in the App's settings.

If you consent, the following information may be processed:

• App usage and interaction information
• Approximate location estimated from your IP address
• App instance identifier and device information
• Purchase-related events
• Diagnostic information

Your photos, your pet's name, and other content you enter are not sent.

6. Tracking and Advertising

The App contains no ads. The App does not use the advertising identifier, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not sell any information it collects.

7. Contact and Support

If you contact us by email, your email address, your message, and any device or app version information you include in the email are processed only to respond to your inquiry. This information is deleted within 90 days after your inquiry is resolved.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

The developer does not operate its own servers that store your photos or pet information. App data stored on your device is deleted when you delete the App.

The retention and deletion of information processed by third parties such as Apple, RevenueCat, and Google are governed by those companies' privacy policies. If you would like information you provided when contacting us to be deleted, you can request it at the contact below.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically designed for children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through its own servers or account systems.

11. International Data Processing

Third-party service providers such as Apple, RevenueCat, and Google may process information in countries or regions other than the one where you live, in accordance with each provider's privacy policy and applicable law.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when the App's features, third-party services, or relevant laws change, and the "Last updated" date will be revised when it is.
